Our client, who is internationally known for their pizza, are continually seeking innovative and experienced people to meet the technical and environmental challenges. An opportunity has now arisen for a Maintenance/Mechanical Engineers. The successful applicants will be required to be flexible and willing to travel to other production centres.

Main duties of this role will be the mechanical planned and reactive maintenance of fast moving production machinery. Although the role is mechanically biased, applicants must have basic electrical skills as the role will require multi skilled disciplines.

Your duties will include:

- Analysing equipment data and history to predict future maintenance requirements

- Developing effective procedures for inspection and adjustment

- Monitoring and evaluating equipment performance

- Evaluating current practises against best practises

-Repairs and adjustments to machinery if possible, dependent on part/complexity

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- Proven experience gained within a mechanical engineering department

- The ability to read mechanical drawings

-A minimum of 3 years experience within a fast paced production environment

-Experience within food, brewery or pharmaceutical production would be a strong advantage

-Educated to City and Guilds standard in mechanical engineering or mechatronics

Applicants will ideally hold their 16th / 17th edition, however this is not essential
