Driving work available in Luton for an established Waste Disposal company. In addition to the detailed job specification, Artic drivers must have 'Walking-Floor' experience.
Client Specification
In all cases, workers placed with this particular client are required to have a minimum of two years driving experience in the relevant licence class, no more than 6 points and be holders of a Digi Card.
Our client's hazardous waste equipment is fully compliant with European Health and Safety standards and includes:
Industrial and domestic skip.
All workers placed on this type of work must have a minimum of one year skip experience in Hook and Sling.
Roll-on roll-off. Roll-pack roll-on roll-off containers - for large amounts of bulky softwood packaging, pallets and crates and lighter-weight commercial and industrial waste. All workers placed on this type of work must have a minimum of one year in Roll on - Roll off.
Rear-end loaders Rear-end loaders for lightweight, compactable waste; these allow for waste disposal and recycling to work together during collection. All workers placed on this type of work must have a minimum of one year experience
Liquid Tankers Tankers for chemical and toxic waste, bulk liquids, sewage, oils, pharmaceuticals, adhesives, etc. All workers placed on this type of vehicle will be required to hold the relevant ADR qualification and have a minimum of one year tanker experience
Office recycling scheme Containers in varying sizes and designs to encourage office workers to separate and recycle waste. Manual handling/lifting is required on these jobs.
Sensitive waste Our client also handles sensitive waste where secure disposal is paramount. This could include small or bulk waste, or office waste requiring shredding, destruction or incineration. Manual handling/lifting is required on these jobs. Usually manned by a two man crew in a 7.5 tonne vehicle
