7.5 tonne High Profile Service Delivery Representative

To be the face to face contact on behalf of Cert Octavian's Client - for the delivery of fine wines and other alcoholic products. Interacting with high profile customers and acting as an ambassador for the company while delivering the order’s in liveried 7.5 tonne vehicles.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

SERVICE

Delivering in 7.5 and/or 3.5 vehicles. Must have Digi Tachograph Smart Card.
Minimum of two years commercial driving experience.
No more than 6 points on licence.
Experience of fact to face customer relations, public and business.
Willing to undergo Disclosure Scotland and/or CRB Check.
Delivery of Alcoholic products to high profile client base.
Proactive, polite and friendly manner, with a high customer service focus.
Ensure all enquiries and potential leads are highlighted and escalated.
Communicate to transport planning as soon as any shortages, over's or damages occur.
Communicate to transport planning any delay's to delivery times.
Responsible for all stock while it's caged at the hubs or on the delivery vehicle.
Always wear the uniform (supplied) and be smartly turned out.
Deliver over the threshold, to the customers cellar if required.
100% adherence to all customer instructions .
A strong sense of ownership and a can do attitude.
Must be flexible and willing to work evening's and weekends. (may be required in the future).
Keep all liveried vans clean and tidy at all times.
Happy to meet and build a working relationship with the company salesman for your area.
Willing to undertake training on the company's products and wine knowledge.
Maintain excellent service levels at all times, ensuring a "first Class" service to all customers
Ensuring security of goods carried are at the highest level
Take on projects as and when required and see them through to successful completion
To positively promote the company to other employees, customers, suppliers and externally

COMPLIANCE

Ensure that all relevant company and legislative policies and best practices are adhered to and maintained at all times
Ensure road worthiness of vehicle before leaving Service Centre  by carrying out a safety check, taking appropriate action where necessary
Inform the relevant Function Manager  of non-conformances and ensure that corrective action is taken
Ensure compliance with all HMC&E procedures throughout the operation
Adhere to Group H&S procedures with due regard for operational constraints and efficiency
